Managing Director Skeye BV
Pieter is co-owner and founder of Skeye BV and has over 20 years experience in operational and commercial roles in the geo-information sector. After a study at the Maritime college Pieter worked 10 years as a hydrographic surveyor. In the last 10 years he was active in aerial surveying using photogrammetry and laser altimetry. Pieter set-up an aerial survey company in Nigeria and was active for several years as a sales director in the Middle-East.
Jan van Liebergen
Jan studied law in Amsterdam and worked in various (project)management positions in international production and service companies. Since the end of 2013 Jan is a co-owner of Skeye and focusses on the further development of Skeye in general and inspections services in particular.
After his study business administration Jurriaan worked many years for one of the world’s largest financial consultancy companies. Jurriaan started as a registered accountant and gradually transitioned to become a strategic consultant. Within Skeye Jurriaan is responsible for the financial, HR and legal affairs.
Country Manager Belgium
Levi graduated as a civil engineer and land surveyor. For the past 15 years he worked in various commercial roles for different geo-IT companies in Belgium. In the past years Levi was active in the sales for geo-data capture projects. As the country manager Levi is responsible for building up Skeye Belgium and expand the local business.
After his GIS studies Patrick worked many years with one of the worlds largest engineering companies. Subsequently his started his own company, Intelligent Mapping Solutions that was one of the first companies specialised in topographic surveys using UAV’s. In 2015 IMS was taken over by Skycap and is now part of Skeye after the merger. Within Skeye Patrick is the GIS specialist, country manager for the UK and occasionally pilots himself.
Roelof de Vries
Product Manager Aerial Imagery
Roloef ran his own successful business in aerial panorama photography for over 10 years prior to a take over by Skycap and a subsequent merger into Skeye. Within Skeye Roelof manages all the aerial imagery projects and is further specialised in online visualisations. Roelof is specialised in custom made aerial communication solutions, mostly supported by 360 degree imagery and virtual reality.
Steffi van Schevensteen
After completing her study communication science at the university of Leuven (Belgium) Steffi was the leading secretary at a law firm in Alphen aan den Rijn. She was also responsible for the marketing/communication/social media. Being officemanager at Skeye, Steffi is the jack of all trades. She also supports the financial director and plays a supporting role with marketing and communication activities.
Manager Data processing
Jasper studied land surveying in Rotterdam at the Zadkine College. Before joining the Skeye team he was active in topographic measurements and DEM generation through GPS for local governments and contractors. Now at Skeye Jasper has taken the opportunity to concentrate on processing aerial imagery to accurate and meaningful products for our customers.
Chara studied Rural and Surveying Engineering at NTUA, Athens, and obtained her Master’s degree in Geosciences and Remote Sensing at TU Delft. During her studies she built a strong background in the fields of Geodesy and Remote Sensing, and she specialised in Airborne Laser Scanning. At Skeye, Chara serves the role of the LiDAR expert, being responsible for the processing and derivation of value-added products.
In his previous job Pete was a UAV pilot in the Middle East on reconnaissance missions for the British Royal Air Force. His main task was the take off and landing of the Hermes 450 and acted as the pilot in command during emergency situations. Pete now uses this experience as chief pilot and operations manager in the UK for Skeye.
Frank studied Geodesy and Geo-Information in Utrecht. He brings over six years of experience in photogrammetry with a focus on technology and project management. He worked intensively on Netherlands largest Aerial Photography project, LuchtfotoNL.
In his new role as Operations Manager at Skeye he will cooperate with the operators/pilots and the data processing team to successfully complete Skeye’s many projects.
Data processor / pilot
Jack has completed his studies land surveying at the ROC Zadkine college in Rotterdam. During his studies he worked as a trainee for the Municipality of The Hague and as a trainee for KEN Infra. At Skeye Jack will focus mainly on data processing and is a certified drone pilot.
Wouter van Deventer
Pilot - Photographer
Wouter has a background in photography where he worked for many years in his own company. Wouter was trained as a balloon photographer and UAV pilot within Skeye. Due to his exceptional eye for graphical detail and flexibility Wouter’s main tasks are the collection of aerial imagery mostly with the balloon or a drone.
Chief Pilot NL
Alexander is a very experienced and passionate pilot of unmanned aircraft. For over 15 years he has been involved as a fanatic hobbyist in the RC world where he has flown fixed wing and rotor aircraft. In 2015 Alexander decided to turn his hobby into work. Besides the titel as Chief Pilot within Skeye he is also responsible for the technical department of Skeye.
Luuk studied GEO-IT at the Radius College in Breda. During his study he followed several internships at local governments and large business corporates. At Skeye Luuk is focused in the areas of programming and data processing. He is specialized in 360 degree panoramic images. Furthermore he realizes orthophotos and height models for a broad range of clients.
Kevin has been an active RC flyer for over 10 years and is a very talented pilot. He is a qualified instructor (KNVVL) on fixed wing aircraft. After having worked three years in a commercial role in the metro chemical industry , Kevin decided to turn his hobby and passion into work. Together with Alexander, Kevin takes care of all technical matters within Skeye.
Bart van Duijn
Bart studied automation electronics and is an enthusiastic flyer and builder of remote controlled aircraft. He has extensive experience in repairing and designing electronics for various companies in the Netherlands.
Bart combines his current role as owner of his company Support XXL with a role as a free lance pilot for Skeye.
